The WASTE mailing list

A public mailing list is available for discussing WASTE, asking questions, sharing usage tips, and suggesting enhancements. To subscribe to the mailing list, click here and follow the instructions.

Posts to the mailing list are automatically archived and publicly available.

The WASTE text engine was initially developed in 1993, and has dramatically evolved since then, up to its latest version featuring Quartz, Unicode, Universal binaries support and more. Before version 3, another WASTE mailing list existed — archives of that list are available from the following links:

 WASTE Mailing List Archive: 1996

NOTE: These archives are kept behind a password to protect them from spambots. When you click on one of the links above, your browser will put up a dialog box asking for a user name and a password. The correct user name and password appear in the dialog box itself (look for "Realm").
